Molly-Mae Hague was spotted leaving the dentist on Friday as she continued on her quest for more natural beauty.

The 21-year-old former Love Island star looked sensational as she wrapped up in an elegant designer outfit shortly after her appointment at Ruh Dental in Manchester.

The blonde bomshell – who is dating her Love Island beau Tommy Fury – opted for a chic cream overcoat and an enormous Balenciaga scarf to keep her warm against the blustery weather.

Molly completed the outfit with a black leather bag as she walked away from the cosmetic dentist office.

It has been speculated in the past that Molly-Mae may have had veneers fitted to achieve her pearly whites, however it is unclear whether she had any procedures during her visit this week.

Molly’s latest trip to the dentist came shortly after the star revealed she was trying to ‘reverse’ some of her dramatic beauty procedures.

Any ‘Natural’ Products Effective for Migraine?

Butterbur for Migraine Prophylaxis

Use of butterbur is more controversial than riboflavin. A randomized, parallel-group study involving over 200 patients found that the group given butterbur had a response rate of 45%, three times better than the response found with placebo. Another randomized controlled trial, this one involving only 33 patients, examined efficacy of butterbur as prophylaxis. Similarly, this study concluded that butterbur reduced the frequency of migraines by 48% in the experimental group, almost double the reduction found in the control group.

A multicenter, open-label trial in just over 100 kids aged 6-17 years found similar results. About three quarters of participants experienced at least a 50% reduction in headache frequency. No serious adverse events were reported.

The most common side effect, reported by 7%, was eructation.

That does not mean that these products are risk-free. Some butterbur products may contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs) — a major safety concern. According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), PAs can damage the liver and lungs, and possibly cause thrombosis and cancer. Patients should be counseled to look for products that are PA-free. One caveat, however: The NCCIH notes that those products may not, in fact, really be PA-free. Butterbur should not be taken by pregnant or breast-feeding women.

The 2012 American Headache Society and the American Academy of Neurology guideline stated that the product had level A evidence for use and was a valid option for patients with migraine. However, the recommendation was questioned owing to reported safety concerns and has now been retracted.

Vitamin E for Menstrual Migraine

Although the woman in this case did not report that her headaches were triggered by menstruation, menstrual migraine is another common variant often seen in primary care. Menstrual migraine is associated with increased prostaglandin levels in the endometrium. Does that mean there is a role for vitamin E, an antiprostaglandin, in prophylaxis?

A placebo-controlled, double-blind, crossover trial involving 72 women with headache associated with menses evaluated the efficacy of vitamin E. The women received placebo for 5 days around menses for two cycles. After a washout period, they were then given vitamin E, 400 units daily, for an additional two cycles. During the vitamin E phase, the women reported a decline in pain severity and functional disability (P < .001). Less phonophobia, photophobia, and nausea were reported during the time taking vitamin E.

Vitamin E is generally safe at dosages up to 5500 IU/d. It is also well-tolerated, particularly when taken short term, as would be the case with menstrual migraine.

Simon was reportedly seeking out a more natural smile.

“Turns out, Simon was actually in need of a new set – we’re told he was doing away with older, temporary veneers he’d been rockin’ – but had one request… less Simpson-y and more streamlined,” TMZ reports.

Simon suffered an agonising back injury after falling off his electric bike in August.

The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent mogul had surgery to insert a steel rod to support three broken vertebrae.

His pal Sinitta recently told The Sun that he has broken his vegan diet in order to repair his strength.

Sinitta is in regular contact with Simon, who is holed up at his Malibu mansion with partner Lauren Silverman and their six-year-old boy.

The singer said: “I spoke to him last week and he sounded so much better.

“He wasn’t dazed, sedated or weak. He was really bright, happy and clear. He’s gained a bit of weight and is looking healthier. He said he had to start eating protein, calcium and break his vegan diet to rebuild his strength.

Affimed and NKMax America to Study the Combination of AFM24, an EGFR-Targeted Innate Cell Engager, with SNK01 Natural Killer Cell Therapy

  • Proof of Concept study to establish safety and recommended dose of Affimed’s innate cell engager (ICE®) AFM24 in combination with NKMax America’s Natural Killer (NK) cells in solid tumors

  • Pre-clinical data substantiates synergy between Affimed’s ICE® molecules and both NKMax America’s autologous and cryopreserved allogeneic NK cell therapy products

Heidelberg, Germany, and Santa Ana, California, October 20, 2020 – Affimed N.V. (NASDAQ: AFMD) and NKMax America Inc., both clinical stage biotech companies focused on harnessing the power of the body’s innate immune system, announced today that they entered into a clinical collaboration agreement to investigate the combination of AFM24, a CD16A/EGFR-targeted ICE®, with the autologous NK cell product SNK01. Pursuant to the collaboration, the companies plan to explore the combination in a first-in-human proof-of-concept (POC) trial in patients with EGFR-expressing tumors. The agreement follows a previous collaboration between the two companies in the preclinical setting to better understand the combined activity of their respective platforms. The results of the preclinical collaboration have shown substantive synergy between Affimed’s ICE® molecules and NKMax America’s autologous and cryopreserved allogeneic natural killer cell products.

Under the agreement, the companies will contribute their respective product candidates and resources towards submitting an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and a subsequent clinical trial. The clinical trial will combine NKMax America’s SNK01 (enhanced natural killer cells) with AFM24 in the autologous setting with the option to expand the clinical trial to the allogeneic setting. The cost of the clinical study will be shared by Affimed and NKMax America. The agreement also provides for the opportunity to pursue further clinical study combinations with additional product candidates from both parties.

NKMax America has developed a proprietary NK cell expansion and activation technology platform which allows it to produce unprecedented commercial amounts of autologous and allogeneic NK cells from numerous donors that have near total expression of activating receptors like CD16A, NKG2D, NKp30 and NKp46. In addition, its unique technology increases the cytotoxicity of the expanded NK cells by nearly 8000 percent. In addition, the SNK01 product does not require lymphodepletion or cytokine support.

Using its ROCK® (Redirected Optimized Cell Killing) platform, Affimed has developed a novel pipeline of ICE® products. AFM24, a tetravalent, bispecific epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)- and CD16A-binding ICE®, is unique due to its activation of innate immunity to kill solid tumors, inducing both antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), whereas other EGFR-directed therapies rely heavily on signal transduction inhibition. A first-in-human Phase 1/2a open-label, non-randomized, multi-center, multiple ascending dose escalation/expansion study is underway evaluating AFM24 as monotherapy in patients with advanced solid EGFR-expressing malignancies whose disease has progressed after treatment with previous anticancer therapies.

“We believe combining ICE® molecules generated from our ROCK® platform with adoptive NK cell transfer can improve patient outcomes by ensuring patients have active and viable innate cells to be directed to the tumor and induce cytotoxic killing. In addition,
