One Piece Themed Fitness Gym to Open in Japan in 2023

A One Piece-themed fitness gym will be opening in Shibuya, Japan in early 2023. While the target age group for the gym is age 18 and over, there will be courses available for elementary school-aged children as well. It will have “rank-up” and points systems, with points increasing for every visit made. Additionally, trainers at the One Piece fitness gym will be dressed as naval officers. More information about the gym, including its programs, will appear in the future. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

With One Piece celebrating its 25th anniversary, more attractions outside of the themed gym will be appearing in Japan. Specifically, Universal Studios Japan will be hosting several new One Piece-themed attractions. This coincides with not just the 25th anniversary of the series, but also the release of One Piece Film Red.

This includes a One Piece Premier Show 2022, a new themed rollercoaster, and a restaurant where visitors will be able to eat from a special menu. The restaurant will also have a live show, with photo opportunities after. The One Piece Premier Show 2022 will include appearances from Jimbei and other members of the Straw Hat Pirates. It will also have an entirely original story. The event will last from July 1 to October 2, 2022.

The One Piece fitness gym will open sometime in early 2023 in Japan.
